I PASSED this in Nov

I MADE it in Dec!

It has been a fruitful year for me and with so many runs that i did, i guess i did beyond what i can really do this year. Looking back, i asked myself why did i do it and the answer is i don't know. Whatever it is, God has brought me through and made it for/with me. I think that's enough to call it a year of victory for my physical limit. God is good. What about you? Do you still remember the faith goals that God has given you? It's not too late to believe God for them, the year is not over yet!!

Last Sunday, i attempted a full marathon! Why did i do it? Well, i am not entirely sure but i know that i am doing it to push myself the the limit or beyond myself. Well, my take is to try to complete it and i achieved my aim to finish it! It's not easy at all, and my experience was very bad. Dont want to describe just in case anyone of your like to try. Haha! :)

During the run i was only thinking a few things:- Macdonald (i was so hungry during the run), taking a cab home (constant thought of giving up is immense), God (duh!) and my 2 lovely ladies in my life. Before i left for the run, Ky told me to bring back the finisher shirt for her and i guess that was the 'push' for me to keep it going. And i know that the medal is for my little girl Laura! God brought me to it and He brought me through it. He is great!

Wow, it's been awhile since i last updated my blog. Created this for a place for me to put up my thought or significant events that are happening in my life. The Lord has been faithful all these while but i guess i am going through a journey of surrender and let go process and that's really take Faith! Recently God has brought me to different life situation from people around me. And i thank God for the wonderful experiences that i had. I think it has not been easy to those people that i know. But seriously i sometime do not know for sure of what is going on in the person's life. I guess as a ministry of God's people, all i can do is to pray for you and hopefully, you will come into the greater reality in Christ.

If we continue to hang on to God and His word of truth, i do not think that anyone of us will have to really suffer anything because Jesus already did that for us on the Cross. But we have to go through pain or anything else is because we ALLOW satan to play with our mind. Someone told me that she has to cry in silence, i think that is not necessary at all if we LEARN to share and get someone to go through this with her. And simply i think that's all i can do for her and that is to ask a few questions and hear her out. I think it's quite depressing for me to hear from a young person of what they are going through but that's life and sometime it's really not that easy. But my role that i can play before God is that i will be a listening ear and a council for the person that is in need.

At 2.40am, with assignment not done and work is not fully completed but yet i am still talking to her in MSN. Well, it's i am still listening to her in MSN. Am i that free to hear? Not quite so, but it's because Jesus has given himself up first to serve and save us, i am doing that to follow His way knowing that i will be piled with more things. But it's worth it.

There is this sms from my spiritual brother Guang Han that says "Man gets get gets and forget BUT God gives gives gives and forgive" I think the basis of this is that God forgives us no matter of who we were or who we are. But somehow in man's nature we tend to forget that. We forgot that God loves us, He wants the best for us, He put us in the spiritual family to let us feel the physical love and support, He redeems us from our sins, He blesses us with financial and exams results, He blesses us with better relationship with friends and family members, and many more. But even with all these, we forget or simply try not to remember it.

With that sms, i am trying to reflect and think of whether or not i have forgotten God's goodness in my life as when i was down in the miry clay, He brought me us and place me in the family so that i am protected and grow as a person. It's been good 4 years in FCBC with the leadership of my pastor, my spiritual father, my spiritual leader and my friend Adrian Ong, i have grown so much as a person and in the Lord. This is one of the sample of God's goodness in my life to place me with Adrian but if i decide to forget this goodness, then i would have been gone to Thailand to quest my own desire. It was heart breaking of not to be able to do what i am desired of but God knows exactly where he is leading me to.

If you are reading this and do not understand exactly understand what i mean, you can ask me questions regarding this. This is a very random post and i may not be in the best state of mind to share what exactly i wanted to share in sequence. But i hope to inspire the knowledge of God's loving kindness to us man. Me too will be willing to do what God has done first for me and i will do that for you.

GCYC was 2 weeks ago. It was an awesome time for me because i have opportunity to serve my country man and woman! :) It was great that i can spend time with them and it's always my wish to serve my country and by serving them, i am serving Thailand as well. God opens my eyes to see that He is doing a great work in Thailand and i am in awed of the hungriness that they have for God.
I think this year GCYC really open up my eyes to see even more great things that God is doing in the Asian country. I am especially moved by what God is doing in Laos. It's amazing to see the picture that they presented. People are so hungry for God and i cant imagine that until i see with my own eyes.
Sometime we are caught by our own selfishness that we refused to look beyond self and give as what Jesus gave. To serve the nations gave me such a great blessing that it's indeed a greater blessing to give than to receive.

To sum up here are the pointers that i got from this convention:
1. Open my eye to see the great work of God not just in Singapore about the nations around us.
2. The hunger of the youth for their own nations.
3. The appreciation that they have for Singapore or FCBC for being such a blessing for them

Today have you been a blessing to someone? They are waiting for you.

Who got Milk?

Last month i have an opportunity to go for a race. It's 8.4km run in the heart of Singapore - Shenton way. It's was a race that is fund racing for children with difficulties with finances. If you like to find out more about Milk (stands for Mainly I Love Kids) you can check out at the following website. http://www.milk.org.sg/ Above is the picture taken of some of the friends that i ran with. And the 3 girls manage to make it to Top 10 and get themselves the medals! Well done!! :) For this run, i felt that it is always a good to do something back to society. Often i said that i am not rich physically but eternally i am. So whatever i can give i would give. The book of truth also said that it is more blessed to give than to receive. I have been holding to this principle because i believe that i can do more to the society out there.

In line with 100K blessing, i have a privilege to witness so many people out there who need blessing. One of them, she has a brother who has hole in his heart. So i am praying for him for God's protection and nothing serious would happen to him. Indeed, Singapore need blessing. Have you been a blessing? Or are you just taking this 100K campaign as just part of your boost of how many you have bless? Or are you using this opportunity to LEARN to be a blessing to others as part of your life style? May the Lord leads you in His way. Love you all. :)

Wow, I just realized that it’s so hard to find time to write blog. Guess what, I am writing this while I am away in Chiang Mai, Thailand for trybe training for schools here. Well, this is what happens a few weeks back.

These are some of the pictures of some of us at the study group 2 weeks back. There are 6 of the young people who came and study with us. I am so glad that many of them (Pioneer Sec: Cindy, Adeline, Yi Sheng. Yusof Ishak: Qing Fang and 2 boys from my favourite prawn mee stall) manage to make it for the study group. Some of them are regular and I am more than happy to continue doing this as part of my blessing to them. Hope this will continue to grow and I would like to extent my thanks giving to Caiyun who made it and came and teach some of us! Thank you! :)

Yeah! Baby girl Rychelle has arrived to this world at 00.02 on 29 July 2007. Kaiyun and I went to visit a new born baby after our study group and some shopping that I have to do. I kept looking at the baby and I was just in awe of how God create us. Rong Hui (the father) was also telling me how her head was like a cone when she first came out and now is back to normal head shape.

Indeed we are created specially by God. So mo matter what, God loves us and He is willing to give up his son for our sin as part of love for us. We should not be discouraged by things that are happening in our life. Pick it up and live it well because God specially made you! And yes, I mean YOU! Who is reading my blog right now. May the Lord touches you in the most special way. Love you all!

Welcome to Dy’s blog! Finally it’s time to put it into action. I have been talking about blogging since the beginning of the year and here I am finally starting one. A couple weeks ago, I told someone that I will be seriously thinking about writing blog so that people can hear my thought and hopefully be impacted somehow or rather. So yes, it is done. J

So this is my 1^st entry. Well, I have been given a privilege to be involved with a Bursary that my company is doing. I am feeling so bless by knowing what is going on in the world out there. After meeting 2 of the 3 beneficiary who had shared with me about themselves and their family situation, I feel that there are many “poor” people out there waiting to be bless. When I say “poor”, it is not necessary to be financial way but it could be poor in the spirit, poor in needing someone to talk to, poor in needing someone to help in their studies. I came to the point that I am not going to wait for people to go and bless but I will be the one to start the blessing going.

Not saying that I am very rich or what but I knew that I have received so much and it’s my turn to give. As some of you know, Kaiyun and I have started the study group for the past 3 weeks. So far it has been good. We are just there to provide help as much as we could and we know that the small help that we gave will be benefiting to them some ways. Hopefully, we can continue this as long as we can.

Are we the “Hero”? My answer is NEVER! We are just ordinary people and we just want to be the blessing and that’s all we hope to be. Are you a blessing? I hope you are. But if you are not, it’s never too late for you to bless someone today. Sometime all it takes to be a blessing to other is just a simple smile or a simple line of SMS to encourage someone. It’s that SIMPLE.
